Compassionate Personal and Nursing Care Support

We focus on person-centred care at Forest Healthcare, which means we take all the time necessary to get to know every resident as an individual, noting their favourite foods, pastimes and hobbies, the activities, crafts and routines they most enjoy, and the types of social occasions or community events that inspire joy.

With nursing care on-demand 24/7, we are proud to deliver exceptional standards of care, looking after the needs, well-being, health, and emotional welfare of residents with a range of conditions and age-related care needs. Services available include respite care to support family caregivers, post-operative care to assist those recovering from a hospital stay, and sensitive, empathetic palliative care for residents approaching the end of life.

We are proud to partner with apetito to deliver nutritionally balanced meals that are nutritious and delicious for our residents. apetito are the leading provider of care home meals to the UK; each meal is created by their chefs, dieticians and nutritionists to ensure it delivers on both taste and nutritional requirements for residents. They also make award-winning food for specialist diets; ensuring mealtimes are safe and enjoyed by all residents regardless of their dietary needs.

We warmly welcome you to Ash Court Care Centre where you can learn more about the caring life we offer.

Our fantastic care centre here at Ash Court includes 62 private suites over three floors, each with an ensuite bathroom for the resident’s personal use. We encourage every resident and their loved ones to furnish and decorate their living space to ensure it feels like a true home that is relaxing and quiet away from the airy, comfortable communal areas where we host meals and a diverse entertainment schedule.

Customer Feedback

Transitioning into a nursing care environment can be a major change, and we work closely with prospective residents and their families to ensure they have the time to ask questions, explore the centre and our amenities, and check that the round-the-clock nursing care we offer is the right fit for their needs.

During initial consultations, we’ll verify the care, medical and personal needs of each individual, liaising between members of the care team, loved ones and other medical professionals involved in the person’s treatment, diagnosis or long-term care.

These conversations are a great time to learn where we can add value or record details such as dietary requirements, providing our catering partners with advance notice about any specific preferences or nutritional needs.

Visiting our nursing home in person is highly recommended. This allows potential residents to see the standard of private accommodation we offer and meet some of our dedicated care staff. The process often gives residents and their families a great deal of comfort, as they are well prepared for their moving-in day and will be greeted by a friendly, familiar face.

Due to sustained demand, we often need to operate a waiting list, but we are always available to provide guidance and information about our nursing care centre. We advise you to get in touch at your earliest opportunity if you’d like to arrange a guided tour or chat with our care coordinators about your or a loved one’s care needs.
